Oh there's a difference - you get a decent snowfall (I assume) for one thing. We hardly ever see snow where I am :guilty:

We've not had a decent snowfall for several years.
When DS moved down to Cambridge he really felt the cold there and hes had much more snow than we've had since hes been there

(Ok I know you dont count Cambridge as South)

I'm surprised, Reading gets quite a snowfall at times though and that's fairly southern...

Cambridge isn't south, but it's not quite Midlands either. Not sure where it is really :confused3

Our last 2 visits to Portsmouth have been in awful weather.

Dec 07 - we got drenched

March 07 Mr Small World was going to a meeting in Southampton so DD and I went down as well with him intending spending the day in Old Portsmouth and walking to Southsea along the front. Mr SW dropped us off in Old Portsmouth and we nearly got blown away. We then had to walk to Southsea to the DDay museum but it was so wild we coudlnt walk along the front or we'd have been swept away so we had to walk the long way then along the front to teh museum. It was pouring down and the sea was so wild. It was fantastic to watch but we were drenched :rotfl:

Welcome to Portsmouth. That sounds like normal Portsmouth weather to me :lmao:

Its a lovely place though and we've also been there in wonderful weather as well :goodvibes

Morning all.

Sleepy and still not much closer to knowing about currency.

Im really tired today - dont know why :rotfl:

I am definitely going to bed before midnight tonight so dont anyone keep me up :rotfl:

I might - Im blaming you for last nights late night :rotfl:

Blame my course organises. They're the ones who set the course dates when they did, which placed my SDD when it did.

On the other hand, if they'd set the course monday - wednesday then I wouldn't be going to DL, so it's swings and roundabouts :thumbsup2
