I'll pay the flight. I'm not paying the hotel fees though - you'll just have to stay up until midnight and fly back the next morning after the party.

I'm too old for Miley (she's 2/3 my age ) and DB doesn't really care about TV, so we get to avoid her.

Best of Both Worlds is on my iPod as part of the Disney disc I own (and does get played quite a bit), but I wouldn't actively go to see her in concert at a sensible price, let alone pay £150 for her party, especially as I'd then have to buy a new outfit, straighten my hair, get her birthday card, a present, the list just goes on.

You've spoken of DD 8 and having DS's old enough to be living away from home, so you must be somewhere around that age... The landing wasn't all that long ago really
