She should do schoolwork and try to get ahead. Whether in her bedroom or outdoors under a tree is up to her. This way if there is a makeup day suddenly scheduled on your real already-booked Disney vacation, she can miss school that day and not fall behind.
Disney hints:

School make up day is the day before Thanksgiving... and no we don't have a Disney vacation planned.... we will be there for T-giving dinner the next day, and the next day with visiting family.... so no chance she will miss the day!
My camera must be a FL camera as it NEVER fogs up...... not even today.
No rain on the way to the park,
Called on the way at 1:45 and got ADRs at Liberty Tree for 4pm (good thing - we had not had lunch!)v
no rain entering the park...
It was a great day at the park - so VERY empty. If you are familiar with the parking lots - only Minnie and a few rows of Goofy had cars. We one of three families on the tram to the TTC. Walked up on the ramp to a waiting monorail. No body in line for Security, and those 1 finger scanners - are sweet! Played in VMK for a bit....
No rain to cancel the parade.....
We walked out to Main Street at 3pm and got front row seats for the parade....
Walked back to Fantasyland... hardly anyone in front on castle... DD rode carousel (walk on)
Walked past Peter Pan 20 min wait at 3:30 in the afternoon! No mass parking lot of strollers. Fantasyland looked "deserted"
Liberty Tree dinner was fabulous.... at 5pm the rains came. We donned our ponchos and headed back to Haunted Mansion.... then we proceeded to walk to BTMRR (I fell on my already very hurt knee - owie!!!! But I walked on)
BTMRR - 5 min wait... DD rode, and rode, and rode and rode EIGHT more times. In all eleven rides she only had to get off TWICE. She was happy - Martha was WET - but I took pics!
Walked to POTC - 5 min (not even) wait - walked right on and got in a boat.
Walked onto Jungle Cruise, DD walked onto Magic Carpets... and then the Lightning came.. and we decided it was time to call an end to our fun spur ot he moment adventure! We were wet, my knee hurts so bad I want to cry.... we walked onto the ferry to ride back to TTC (no way was I able to walk up the ramp to the monorail). Walked onto the waiting tram, and back to our car.
Now we are home... we were wet, but we had sucn a wonderful spur of the moment MAGICAL day.... better than sitting at home doing school work any day!
Thanks ERNESTO for the opportunity!
Oh - and when I got home - my new wide angle and telephoto converters for my S2 were waiting at the door..... Can't wait until Saturday - at CM for lunch and whatever other trouble we can find!
Pics to follow of a very empty park!
