Hope it went well Cathy, i dropped Kyra off at school today and there was only 7 in her class, the rest dont start till Monday. She wanted to know why all her other friends were going into a different class so felt a bit sorry for her.

Freya is only afternoons this week, so she isn't there yet although she's desperate to be. She insisted on wearing her uniform to take Dylan this morning so I probably looked like I was kidnapping her. She then insisted on going to buy some 'green pickles' because she wanted to take them for her snack. I duly bought a jar of gherkins and she tried one and hated it so much she had to spit it out. Luckily I suspected this would happen and bought the cheapest jar of gherkins I could find.
Dylan ran happily round to the juniors like a big boy so hopefully he'll have a good day - funny thinking of him in the playground with all the big kids.
Not surprised Kyra is a bit confused - hope her new friends start soon!

No she has never eaten them before and I have no idea what put them in her head but it was all she could talk about this morning. Since I always ask her to try new things I thought I ought to let her.
Next week she will just be mornings, and full time the week after that. Good job I work from home.

Hope it goes well, my daughter Isobel also starts pre-school tomorrow, she will be going 5 mornings a week. I struggled to get her to try on her uniform, so I'm dreading getting her dressed in the morning!
If only she could wear her Belle dress to school, would be so much easier!

Well, I got to use my shareholder's card!! I wanted to get a princess dress for DD to wear to Auberge so she insisted that it had to be Cinderella - I wanted to get the Belle one as it was beautiful! photos in my pre-trip report if you're curious...

Also got a Minnie Mouse jacket for her - with ears on the hood! A little Jasmine doll for Christmas (or maybe our train ride to Paris!!) and some new princess pants to celebrate the successful potty training.

Was a little disappointed though as I wanted to get something for me and there was no adult clothing at all! Rubbish! Does anyone know if there are any nice fleeces in DLRP for adults? Also, no Toy Story 2.

Certainly in July there was some lovely adult fleeces, I got a new Tigger fleece (pull on with hood), but there was also zipped ones as well.

I have just spent the last hour writing out my plans for DLRP, I have everything planned down to the last minute :lmao:

My head is spinning after my first day back at work - my phone has not stopped all day and I had 177 EMails to read and Ive had clients calling in to see me all day. :headache:

and I cant see tomorrow being much better
