Bob - I think your hair looks gorgeous - ultra stylish and in lovely condition as others have said :thumbsup2

Buttercup - so sorry to hear about your car - what a nightmare! As it was a friend don't suppose there is much you can do about claiming for anything?? Just what you need before a holiday eh?

Well, I booked my dining reservations today so all sorted pretty much for our trip. Went to Asda Living on Monday and got a load of Disney clothes for the DDs - I seemed to have loads but it cost £50 which I didn't think was bad really. They have some just gorgeous little Minnie clothes in right now - all matching but separates if anyone is interested for their little girls :lovestruc

Good evening all. I passed my final written exam for my driving course. I got 89% for the Highway code & 97% for the road signs paper, no more revising:woohoo:

Feel gutted for one of the guys as he failed by 1% so has to resit on Thursday. Me & the other guy have said we will get him through it. After all 3 of us started together so 3 of us will finish together

Congratulations - that's another one of us past that magic "no more studying" finishing post :goodvibes

No change here - I'm still slogging away at my report. I've officially decided that appendices are evil. Our word count only applies to the main body of our report which means that anything that doesn't fit there goes into an appendix. The net result of that is that I'm probably writing a 15,000+ word report, rather than the "advertised" 12,000. :headache:

On the plus side, I'm very slowly edging towards the finishing line now as I'm about 8,000 words in now (excluding appendices). :yay:

Thanks. Good luck to you with your report. I will end up having to do some more studying in the near future as I want to become a Paramedic sooner rather then later so need to keep up with medical things. For the time being i'm just going to relax as next week I will hopefully been on the ambulance as part of a proper crew:eek:

OMG how sad was the sight of Michael Jackson's daughter at the memorial. Not sure I agree with her being up there on the stage but that was a real tearjerker and they did at least get the poor girl off quickly.

Yeah, I was surprised when she stepped up to the mic but it seemed like it was her choice to do it.

Ergh i'm not impressed.

Kyra's school trip might be cancelled because not many people have paid. I know its a voluntary contribution but if no one pays then no one can go. I paid for Kyra and if its cancelled she is going to be so upset as she has been looking forward to it.

There are 4 classes (2 nursery classes and 2 reception classes) going and ive worked it out that 61 children need to pay by the end of the week so the trip can go ahead...I can't see that happening :(

What a shame.:confused3 But hopefully at least 61 people will feel the same way as you and pay up by Friday. This is always a problem for schools, as they are not allowed to make the charge mandatory. DS had his school trip yesterday and it rained all day. DD's nursery trip is costing me £20, I was outraged!

I remember when i was at school you either paid or you stayed behine and worked in another class, those were the days.

Where did your DD's nursery go?

Ds went to Hatton Country World and DD will go to Cotswold Farm Park next week. She's most annoyed that DS got to go this week. The knowledge that she will go next week and he won't just isn't cutting it for her at the moment. Impatience is her big thing these days. Yesterday she told me she just couldn't wait to be grown up as being a kid was so boring. Where is Kyra going? My mum always took her infants to some childrens' farm which must be near you somewhere.

She sounds like Kyra, she wants to go on her trip now not next week lol. She is going to Eagle Heights in Dartford, its got birds and wildlife. She will be devastated if its cancelled.
