OK guys!! I don't know about you but I am thrilled that we are finally going to get some snow here in NJ. I feel bad for the people upstate who already have 12 feet of snow and are about to get at least another foot... but here in NJ it's been dry as a bone. The children are looking forward to not having school tomorrow and I'm excited about finding my snowpants and going outside to have some fun!!! I just had to share that with somebody and who better than my Disney family. :goodvibes :)

I would love 12 foot of snow! we were lucking last week and got 5 cms!!!!!
have fun

Oh Boy! I am in NJ too and hope that the schools have class tomorrow...is that bad of me? I guess I am being selfish since I am the class Mom and plan a party for tomorrow...If the party is postponed til Thurs I cannot be there so I have to rely on someone else to throw the party...I dont like that!!! :)

I do hope it snows enough for the kids to go out and play...OK, I'll admit, I'll play too!

I'm from NJ and Fi and I were just checking out what we're supposed to get. I'm so glad I made my Fi take off a few days this week, even if we have 3 feet of snow he has to go to work (he works in a hospital) and he works about an hour away. I was freaking out about the thought of him going an hour in the snow, ah! At least now no matter what we can have a happy warm valentine's day indoors :)

Im in chicago & we're getting nailed, but I dont mind it, i think its pretty

My DD is so excited...she LOVES snow

Drive careful girls,,,,be safe!!

I am in Central Jersey, starting snowing close to an hour ago and it isn't even sticking to the cars yet :sad1:

I hope we get at least a few inches! It doesn't feel like winter without snow :sad2:

I don't mean to disappoint you, but I don't think you guys are gettign much of an accumulation... most of the snow is staying north by us and into NY state... even NYC is only supposed to get a few inches and then rain is going to wash it all away... but for those of us who live on the other side of the GWB, we are gettign snow and ice... hopefully more snow than ice... glad to hear it already started down there though... that means we should be seeing flakes soon!! My dogs are going to be soooooooooooo happy!!! :rotfl: So is our daughter. :rotfl:

Take it. I hate it! We're expected to get 10-14in tonight, and I don't get the luxury of having classes called off. :sad2: Snow comes down and we still have to risk life and limb to drive to work and the stupid apartment complex never plows good enough so it means pushing my car out of the parking lot!

:sad1: Ya I know.....an inch maybe??? can I get an inch??? :lmao: It's funny too because in the office here, as soon as the snow started people were staring out the window! This one woman went to the grocery store this morning and bought milk, bread and water! :confused3 For an inch??? IF that? I don't get it! I think they said we were suppose to get some freezing rain instead. THAT I could do without!

For those Jersey peeps that get some snow, throw a snowball for me :rotfl:

How cool.. Haven't seen snow.. I have family that live in NJ and for some reason when I have gone up there... NO SNOW....Have fun:surfweb:

Woo hoo! I'm in the 6-12 range. It will be a nice addition to the whole 2 inches we've gotten all season!

I just went online and checked out the weather update (I'm a weather geek). Our numbers have gone from 1-3" to 5-10"... all of a sudden I'm liking this cold weather... it means more snow... wooohoooooooo!!!

Sorry for those of you who still have to go to work... if it makes you feel any better, the storm isn't supposed to end here until late Wed. night and I have to go to work at 2:45 p.m. I doubt there will be many patients coming in tomorrow night though... can't wait... guess I'll be on the boards a lot tomorrow afternoon/evening. :rotfl:

Whaaaaaaaaah! I live in L.A.! No snow for us  You should see the drivers here when it rains - "Water... falling from the SKY?!!" Screeeeeech! :rotfl:

She must be from the south. No offense to my southern guys and gals, but if they even mention snow school is canceled and the grocery stores run out of milk, bread, and even meat.

I was really excited for the storm :rotfl: but it keeps changing. One minute snow, one minute ice, one minute snow and ice and then next I hear is nothing. Now, it has changed apparently to snow and ice. :rotfl2: These weathermen drive me insane. I live in Northeast NJ and I was so exxxxxcited for the snow haha. I just like one storm per year; just to get that wintery feel. It hasn't snowed a single bit here in NJ (which is good for lots of people) but needless to say I'm quite disappointed. I'm hoping it changes to all snow! Let's hope so!

"Oh little snow god so pure and bright, please let it snow like anything tonight! hahahahaha!" :rotfl:

Oooh where in Central NJ? I live in Central NJ, but work in NYC and we haven't seen anything here yet :(

Oh I wish I was home in NJ to enjoy all the snow with you all :sad1: I'm stuck here in Atlanta and it's thunderstorming. Who would have guessed that it thenderstorms in February :confused3

Am I the only girl in the Northeast keeping her fingers crossed we don't get hit as bad as they are predicting? :-(

I think the area I live and work in is predicted to get 6-12" but that's fluctuated much higher and lower a lot today.
