My Lynksys is bout to die and I am looking for a replacement. I would like something that offers a good bit of range but most of the routers that I see don't have an antenna which makes me scratch my head.

I though about the Apple Airport Extreme (I beleive it is called) but again I need something that spits out good wireless range.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm no techie, but I am using an Apple Time Capsule both as my router and to backup my system. I purchased Time Capsule after my previous router, which was a DLink, proved unreliable. Not sure what kind of range you require, but the Time Capsule lets me use my laptop wherever I want in my house and on my back deck. Downside is the price, which was about 2-3 times the cost of the DLink router, but the improved reliability and auto backup feature compensates for the higher price.

I went ahead and shelled out the cash for the Airport Extreme (and boy did it hurt !)

Vista is not liking it, but the macs / ipad/iphone is working without a glitch
