OT - Need some vacation help

So dh is in Seattle, so I'm planning a vacation! He said no Disney since I booked that 2 weeks ago while he was in Seattle. I Definitely want to go to FL and stay gulf side. So any recommendations? It would be a long weekend and we'll have a nursling coming along.

PP is right, Destin is awesome but if you go about 80 miles West you will find all the beauty of Destin without the crowds. Orange Beach, Al is Destin without the negatives. BDR knows of which I speak. Orange Beach is very popular with the La. and Texas crowd. We spend a good bit of time here. We are here right now and it's unreal. In regard to 2goofy's comment below Orange Beach and Gulf Shores are side by side.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeyyy....even better...add a couple of "downtime at the fort" days!!!! I wish we would have had that option last trip. Or maybe throw in a waterpark day as well
