OT-Need HELP-Adoption Book??

My daughter talks about her adoption and birth family often (she was adopted at 15 months) and loves her age-appropriate lifebook. We'll be starting work on a new one soon since that one was created for a toddler with preschool verbiage. The first one I made for her... the next ones will be done together.

Our 5 year old daughter was adopted domestically and is African -American and we are caucasian. We have always had people ask us qeustions when we are out as a family. Most people are curious but not rude. We are often asked if we are "fostering" and my husband always responds very positively No, she's ours! I like this response because it lets her know that she is ours and belongs in our family. She does know that she is adopted and has a book " The Day We Met You" and she loves to change the story to "hers".
