OT-Need creative way to give Santa gift

Here's the deal - my soon to be 11 yo DD is getting The Rockette Experience for Christmas from Santa and since it's a ticket with a schedule how should I put it under the tree. We don't wrap presents from Santa.

My kids are gettng tickets to see Disney on Ice at the Nassau Colliseum in January.

In my stocking I'll find an envelope with a letter that says (more or less; I wrapped it 2 weeks ago)

Dear A.. family,
Your mom and dad wrote me that they got you a Wii for Christmas.. I bet you LOVE it!!!
Since I had planned to get you that, I decided to get you something different instead: tickets to see Disney on Ice.
Your mom and dad will fill you in on the details.

I agree with the stocking idea as all gifts in a stocking come from Santa

I am assuming that the presents from Santa are under the tree unwrapped so the kids see their gift when they come into the room and it would be difficult to see that particular present.

My suggestion would be to buy an inexpensive large photo/picture frame, put a letter in it explaining the trip maybe some pictures and then afterwards your daughter can put a photo in of her experience and have a reminder of the day.

Does she have a camera? If not, how about buying her a cute little purse, and in the purse put a cheapie disposable camera, a pair of dress gloves, a compact (small mirror), some lip gloss, maybe a cheapie pearl necklace, and the tickets???

Santa hides the gift in our house and leaves a clue as to wear to find it. Dd one year found a doll under the kitchen sink,once she would open the cabinet door. She was scared something would hop out at her .

I like the stocking idea! We usually open those first then go downstairs and see what Santa has brought (no we don't wrap Santa's gifts), then the stuff from us.
