OT: My son's Nemo Room

Wow...gorgeous room! And what a deal!!!!!!!!! I bet your son was thrilled with it.

We are thinking of doing a Walt Disney World themed room for our toddler. One wall, MK and another AK since he loves animals so much. Still trying to figure out how to blend everything together. LOL My son and DH are the artists in our household but we do plan on using a projector. :)

WOW

All I can say that is just great and the $600 what a deal for such a great job.

And yes they really love that extra in their room DD shows hers off to anyone that wants to see it.It's a real escape for them.

We did our DD's this past year it's still a work in progress . I was going to try the projection thing for here wall behind the bed that has no wall hangings but haven't yet.

You can see her room in my SIG under TINK ROOM.

Sorry- I meant to respond to this in my last post. I would love to see you Disney Kitchen! Please share your link!

Heres the link. Its mostly pictures. The wolf in the pictures died today. Everyone cried. Thats life. He lived 12 years. He was a great pet. We plan to find another wolf...

Theres also pictures there of our rainforest den.

PLEASE REMEMBER... we are NOT EVEN CLOSE to finished with EITHER of these rooms yet. We are planning some animatronics, possibly a fiberoptic star ceiling, and we have some more stuff yet thats not installed. We also have All Stars Movies Refillable mugs banners and more nicer banners not pictured at this link yet.

Im not trying to steal this thread. The topic is still the OPs Nemo room, which is very nice!

Cute! That's one use of Happy Meal toys that has never crossed my mind!

I'm curious...how have you acquired the banners? Just wondering, because in our next home we want to do a home theatre room with movie banners and such. WDW banners would be cool too. I especially like the "all star" light.

Oh, and sorry to hear about your wolf. It's always hard to lose family pets.

I have 2 of the Magical Gathering banners as well . Got them from E-bay the seller had about 4 different tink ones and the MGM light-up one .He had many of each design and would list a new one each time the others were ending.

I did have a bit of problem with the shipping of the second banner and after a while he shipped another one but he must have taken the worse one he had because it's a mess. I new going in that the condition was not perfect but now I have to try to find a way to at least make it presentable.

Sellers sellnship and mousesurplus in orlando. I got one that was trashed too. they have some great stuff, but they arent always completely truthful in their descriptions. One of my 12 footers was trashed. I complained and got a refund. I have 2 of the lighted banners. They "imply" that they might work, and might not. I think the truth is NONE of them work. Neither of mine did. I had to buy a new powerpack and a new LED driver. I have almost $300 invested in just one of them alone. The other is still in the box. I havent decided what to do with it yet. the one in the box is much brighter. I wish I had gotten it first, and its more beautiful. If I had known I would have never bought either, but I'm glad I did, because the LED banners are SOOOOOOOO Beautiful. Theres nothing else I could get thats THAT georgous.

Try cleaning with lighter fluid on your banner. It removes the black stains like magic!

That room is incredible, the walls are just beautiful. Just curious if the rest of the room is all Nemo, sheets, lights, etc. or did you mainly just stick with the mural on the walls. I would never want to leave that room if I was your son, in fact if i were you I wouldn't want to leave! haha. Your boys are also so adorable! Are you thinkng of any theme for the younger one??

Thanks for all the comments! My son (now 27 months) is really starting to notice the different characters on the walls! It is nice watching him look at them and trying to figure out different aspects of the mural.
