OT-My sons freind hijacked my cell phone Funny!

I got up this morning and started my day. Went to text my DH a good morning and what is on my phone?! Big close up of my sons friends face! LOL Wait it gets better.............. Now when i txt some one it says "Cody is Awsome" at the end of every TXT! I dont know how to get it off. LOL YOu have to 15 yr olds always making me laugh! I havnt started working yet today I hope I dont need to send out any txt to any one! LOL

That's pretty funny! I changed my mom's ring tone to something annoying once, it still makes me laugh thinking about it.

There is probably an option somewhere for a signature. What type of phone do you have?

That's funny! I changed my Mom's to a frog one time, it was funny to see everyone's reaction.

Now, if you figure out how to get that off, please let me know. My daughter put "I'm so hot I put fires out" on my phone, and it's really quite embarassing.

Once you figure out how to fix it, I would keep my phone someone where they can't touch it. I think I would be upset if my kid did that to their friend' parents phones.

I'm glad you are able to have a sense of humor about it....so many people would get bent out of shape. As someone already said, you need to find where to change your signature.

My dh taught ds how to set alarms on cell phones when he was 5. He would sneak around at family get togethers and take turns swiping everyone's phone and setting alarms to go off at all hours of the night Dh thought it was hilarious!!! Some members of my family.....not so much. DS knows it's off limits now....but dh and a few others have a running competition to see who can get each others phone and do stuff....clean fun.

I'd be pretty pissed if one of my kids friends messed with my phone.

That's funny! My dh and dd changed my cell phone ring and ringback tone to Phineas and Ferb's squirrels in my pants song!! So funny everytime somebody calls me!

It sounds to me like the OP is a fun loving person and her son's friend recognized this and knew she would not be upset by it. I would have found it funny and harmless myself. Different strokes for different folks.

OP, I hope you get that signature fixed soon or people might think you have a new man named Cody. lol

That sounds funny (and thankfully harmless) and you sound like a fun parent to be around and thankfully he sounds like he knows how to have some harmless fun too (without pushing it)!

You can probably google your question with your phone model to figure out how to get the signature off your texts.

It was totaly funny and yes harmless. Cody is fun to have around he and his family are long time family freinds and more family than freind. I would never be upset about a fun loving joke he is a good kid, im just glad he chooses to have a laugh rather than out doing god knows what.
I will have my DS help me take off the siggy this eve. Heck I didnt even know I could have one on my txts

Sounds like my dd13. A couple of years ago, she made ringtones for my gf and I - her screaming "ANSWER THE PHONE, ANSWER THE PHONE, I'M CALLING YOU, ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!" We would panic, trying to answer the phone! DH used to change my ringtones without telling me, so I'd be out, and I'd be ringing, and people would gesture that it was my phone, and I'd argue it wasn't.

My 16 year old got ahold of my Iphone, set a close up picture of his "yeah, I'm cool" face as my background, then locked it so I can't change it.

They've also changed my ringtone to Spongebob's "I'm a goofy goober" before.


I figure if that's the worst thing they do to me in my old age, I'm okay....

I have three sons, and I know that their teenage years are going to involve me and lots of (hopefully) harmless practical jokes like this one. I'm sure that their friends will be quite helpful during those adventures.

(In fact, come to think of it, dh and ds have already reset the ring tones on my phone a couple of times).

I think it's a pretty funny way to start a Tuesday morning!

Did you figure it out how to change the signiture?

At DH's work they used to take cell phones of thosie not paying attention and change the ring tone and then they would say something in it crazy.

I'm glad you can laugh about it.

If one of my kids friends messed with my phone, I would be mad and they'd sure be hearing about it.

Heck, one of my sons friends took all my jewelry making stuff off my craft table in MY office to make room for his laptop when he slept over. (DS temporarily put his Xbox in there to play since the TV was bigger and he wanted his friend to see the game easier).

He sure wasn't happy when I made him put it all back on the table and then informed him that if he can't leave the stuff alone in my office, he wasn't going to be invited back.

He has never touched a thing in there again.
