Men are genuinely allowed to agree with their DF's. Most girl's you disagree with their wedding dream and you're on the sofa for the evening

As for equal rights, as a Quaker, I know a thing or two about trying to treat all people equally

As for catholic vs. not, I almost had that very debate once upon a time.

Go with whatever you and Robert feel happiest with. At the end of it all, a wedding is a celebration of your love for each other, so you should have the wedding that the two of you want, not what family want.

Lol- A lot of girls don't put people on the sofa for the night!

So did my Uncle.... And what concerns me is, that wedding got called off.....

Its just hard..... He's got a huge family. His mother is already having a hissy fit with us because we're not having a summer wedding and she likes hot weather (I have a bad reaction to heat, hence a winter wedding), and she can't stand the fact I'm not having a 'proper' wedding dress, his Dad hates the fact we want an alcohol free bar (We don't drink, but we're going to provide bottles of wine throughout the evening), and a couple of his more strictly Catholic aunts and uncles are probs gonna tut when they find out its a non-Catholic wedding..... Luckily, his Grannie is being fantastic and is really enthusiastic.... Don't get me wrong, they're all happy for us, I think they'd just rather we had a big p*** up in Barnsley and got married at the Catholic Church.....

I don't care though.... We're going to do it our way...!
