Welcome back to the mad house... hope you got to do lots of window shopping and mentally bought lots of nice things!

Well, I did buy Robert a book.... 'Watchmen' by Alan Moore.... I also nearly bought myself a dress in Monsoon.... It was £160, but reduced to £48.... I behaved though. Nearly killed me, but I behaved....

.... You probably weren't that bothered, but I thought I'd share anyway!

Evening everyone.

Hope you've all had a good day so far. I decided to be really good and not log on til evening otherwise Id have just spent all day on here - once I get on I cant seem to get off. I managed it but probably only because I went out. Me and DD went to Ikea as DD is changing bedrooms and so we were buying lots of bits and bobs to make it girlie. Couldnt be bothered to decorate and this seemed the easiest way and cant turn it into a total girly room incase DS decides to come back home and claim it back again.

Anyhow Im here now.

Didnt get my chocolate last night but have got a donut for later tonight- yum yum

No we've promised DS that we wont paint it pink as if comes back home to live he will have to have that room again as the one DD has now is too small. It only fits a childrens bed in not a full size one so thats why we are trying to make it girlie with lots of accessories- we bought new curtains, a light shade, a bed side lamp, lots of storage boxes for all her bits and pieces.
We are going to put the new curtain rail up tomorrow (well DH is) and rearrange the furniture a bit.
Ive also got lots of pink and purple voile from her birthday party a few years ago so may try and do something with those on the walls.
She just delighted to be getting a bigger bedroom that she can actualy play in

I know what its like to have a small bedroom, when i lived at my mums i had the smallest room which just about fit a bed into. My friends still joke about how small it was to this day Now my room in my flat is massive that i don't know what to do with it

I have the smallest bedroom, but I don't mind to be honest. It fits my 2 fish tanks, a double bed, a wardrobe and chest of drawers, plus some extra bits so I'm happy

Gosh thats not small - DDs current bedroom fits in a small childs bed and a small bedside cupboard

eek, that's quite small. I know for a fact I couldn't live in a room that small; I have way to much stuff.

Admittedly, the fish tanks could always go somewhere else in the house (not sure where though!), which would mean my room could be 2ft shorter than it currently is if they went.

The bigger issue in my room is not so much the size of it, but the temperature it reaches, partially due to the fish tanks. They also make a good humming noise, but I'm used to that now

Wow that's fast, I won't get anything back on mine until at least 5th September, at which point I should get 3 back at once. Not that I appear to care a great deal about them. I'd like an A on them, as without trying to sound too , I haven't had in almost 2 years of uni work now

Realistically though, I'll settle for a pass (50%), which is enough to keep me going. So long as I pass all the taught stuff, I'm happy.

The work really starts when I return from DLRP in January, at which point I have my final project (similar to a dissertation, but worse IMO) until about the end of August.

Ah, we only have a guideline limit on these thankfully. If I go over, then I'm not penalised for it in this module.

The problem is, the assignment I'm working on is split into 3 equally weighted sections, which should total 1200 words. My overall essay is at 1325 at the moment, but my final section is only 295.
