"This is my sister. She came out of my mommy's belly. She drinks milk from her nipples.""

Fortunately, this introduction was made to someone with a sense of humor, and an understanding that kids don't have the same social filter that adults do.

At least I know he's listening when I answer his questions!

When I was pregnant with #2, cord placement prevented us from telling if we were getting a boy or girl. After he was born, my older DD (then almost 2) would inform every passing stranger that "Robert has p****!" Just in case they thought he might be missing it!

Write it in her baby book--I guarantee, 10 years from now, she'll be mortified. How do I know? #2 is now almost 12 (and his sister dies when we tell this story!)
