DH and I are going to Vegas for 3 days with no kids. We have never been and were just wondering if anybody has any must dos that we should try.

Are you a Beatles fan at all? My family and I absolutely loved Beatles Love at The Mirage. It was my favorite part of our trip last August.

There is a mall across the street from The Wynn & The Mirage. At this mall is a store that sells last minute show & dinner tickets at a big discount. We got Penn & Teller Tickets, and Terry Fator, also dining discounts at Pampas, also there is a great lunch place at this mall called Strip Burger

Thanks guys. Keep these great ideas coming. I am adding all this to my list and I will narrow it down.

Check out the fountains at the Bellagio, that is a must for me. If you like thrill rides, check out the stratosphere.

Where are you staying? there are ticket tonight booths throughout the strip that sell the last minute show tickets. Our favorite shows were Beatles Love and Jersey Boys (at Paris). We also really liked David Cooperfield (at MGM). There are tons of great restaurants. Depending on where you will be and price range there are tons of options. Love Wolfgang Pucks at the MGM and it was moderately priced. Make sure that you go to Bellagio and see the fountains. In general we like spending the morning walking the strip and seeing all the hotels. Have fun.

If you are staying on the Strip or on the 'New Vegas' side-take a bus (the bus passes are very economical and run all the time-the ticket machines are by the bus stops) and go to 'Old Vegas'.

DH and I had a blast in 'Old Vegas', it was campy, a little corny and what we pictured in our mind when we think about Vegas-the Golden Nugget (Bingo Hall was a hoot), the older casinos, the music/video show across the 'ceiling' of the street-tons of fun! We even played Keno at some cafe while we ate, the hostess brings around Keno cards.

Another thing we did that was fantastic-we booked a tour of the Hoover Dam-AWESOME! They pick you up at your hotel, take you to the Dam for the 'Dam Tour', if you have never been out west (it was our first time), the desert and the sky are so perfect they look fake. I don't remember what it costs, but I thought it was reasonable.

For shows, we saw 'Phantom' which we both loved and a Cirque show-the nude one-which was very good and definetly for adults only. We also had lunch at Paris and ate in the Eiffel Tower, the tables for two are a few stories up, against the glass so you look out onto the strip, we were right in front of the Bellagio Fountains.

Have fun!

I go to Las Vegas several times a year. I love Love, my favorite Cirque show. A treat evenjng is the Champagne Circle at Le Reve at Wynn. My favorite upscale meal is Picasso at Bellagio and my favorite casual meal is Mesa Grill at Caesars.

My one must do is made to order beignets at Bouchon in Venetian (it's upstairs in the Venezia tower). They have them on the breakfast menu and an added perk is when the weather is nice and you are seated outside in the beautiful garden.

Did you know there's a Vegas board on the Dis? It's under Disneyland, California and the West (or something like that), and there's a Vegas board. I found it helpful when we were planning our December trip. That being said, we loved the fountains at the Bellagio, the Venetian shops along the canal, and Margaritaville. The Fremont Street experience in downtown Vegas was fun, too. Enjoy your trip!

DH & I have been to Vegas a few times and have a great time. We love Cirque and have seen Ka, O & Zumanity.

The fountains at Bellagio are beautiful. You can also go up to the top of the Eifel Tower at Paris and have a lovely view of the strip at night. You can also do a gondola ride at Venetian.

Our favorite restraunt is at Caesars Palace -- Mesa Grill.
Another fun, casual place is at Mandalay Bay -- Burger Bar.

Blue Man Group is also in Vegas.

We always get a limo or sedan to take us to/from the airport.

I just booked a trip too. On our list: zip line, gondola ride, dinner at the Eiffel tower, stratosphere ride, and a cirque show. I just started looking a few days ago but our days will definitely be full.

Ziplining on fremont street. Sirens at TI that one will be easy for you ;) volcano at Mirage

I will second Hoover Dam! My absolute must do in Lost Wages. Also, hit In & Out burger, especially if you are not from a place with in & Out, like us. We enjoy the fountains at Bellagio, canopy on Fremont Street, pirate battle at Treasure Island & (wait for it!) The Disney Outlet with the Disneyland closeouts.

i was in vegas about two years ago. the few things i loved:

eat: mon ami gabi at Paris (if you are outside you are across from bellagio) and Jose Serano at Aria
drink/dance: Bank at Bellagio and Studio 54 (MGM i think)
be merry: sigfreud and roy dolphins/tigers (i forget the casino) and a show we did crazy horse (not the most fantastic show on the strip im sure, but we went to a booth and got a good price and these ladies were just really beautiful)

I disliked the Palms and crowds there. I also thought the Stratosphere was a waste of time. We had dinner there and at night all you could see where dots of lights outside.

Outside of Vegas I loved the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon but you are on a 3 day trip so that may be out. If you are budgeting my advice is save on shows/attractions and spend on food. I never spent so much on food on a vacation but it was worth every penny since it is one thing they do well. (also if a deal comes up before you go on restaurants.com you may want to buy a voucher or two)

You will be staying right across the street from Harrah's. If you plan on playing the slots, I've had quite a bit of luck there
