OT - Maclaren Twin Triumph

For anyone with the twin Triumph - is it really suitable from birth? We are debating between the Twin Triumph and the Twin Techno. The Maclaren site says that the twin triumph is okay for 0+, but I know that in the single triumph we have (which IS listed as 6 months and up) our kids didn't really look like they fit in it until closer to a year.
