OT... Lunch Box ideas

My kids like sticky rice (sushi rice) so I make sticky rice balls using shaped molds (heart, star, teddy bear) I bought on ebay. I also have shaped molds that I can put hard boiled eggs in. (heart, star, Hello Kitty).

I've seen rice molds in Disney themes, BTW. (Pooh, Lilo and Stich)

These are some of the ideas my DD12 has come up with for lunches she would like this year.

Chicken ceasar salad
Chef salad
Ham sub (like subway made at home)
Apple slices with peanut butter and dark chocolate chips
Chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat toast
Teriaki chicken and rice
Trader Joes organic shells and cheese, with salad or fruit
Hot dog ( sent in a thermos of hot water, bun on the side)
Mini ham or turkey sandwiches on Hawiian sweet rolls
Mini porcupine balls (meatball with rice in tomato soup)
Chicken fingers
Roasted chicken drum stick
Cheese burger (sent in a thermos of hot beef broth, bun on the side)
She's more interested in eating something that she has made her self!:stir:

We are going to try and do a monthly menu of our own .
