OT - let the chatting begin....... CHAT thread

Hope you get some results & answers on Thursday:hug:

Thanks guys! DD is being admitted to the children's ward tomorrow morning so they can give her a proper clear out, because after 6 weeks of us trying - she is still blocked :sad2:

Doctor today was fab, and says best thing is to admit her for 3 days and get her cleared out and then they can start figuring out what is really wrong and treat it! So it's a step in the right direction - and at least in hospital, they will help clear her up after each accident!

What a nightmare 2012 has been so far!

Oh I am sorry to read this Rosebug :sad2:. I really hope all goes well and they are able to get to the root of the problem. It does sound like they are taking it seriously. Fingers crossed all goes OK .

Yes, 2012 hasn't been a great year for you all so far :sad1:.

Hopefully they will start to work out what is wrong with her:hug:

Just having a proud Mum moment here  I'm very proud of Shanti as she passed her puppy training with distinction. :goodvibes

Hope her stay in hospital will help things start looking up for her. :goodvibes

Back to square one! They discharged her on Monday even though she wasn't where she was meant to be (according to the consultant who admitted her) and told we could do the same at home, which of course hasn't worked and she is back to the way she was - possibly a bit worse as we had a midnight trip to out of hours doc on Friday night with a little girl with a hugely bloated, swollen tummy! :confused3:sad2: OOD said it's wind, but that she is still blocked and shouldn't have been discharged, so we have to go back to GP tomorrow and start all over again! :sad1:

Didn't help that last Tuesday I came down with either a bug or food poisoning - but at least it kick started my DLP diet!

By god we are going to need this holiday come August!

Oh dear  your poor DD, how frustrating. Hope you're feeling better now.

Not that its any consolation I was in/out of hospital from being 7 with crohns disease and I actually loved all the attention ;)

Elaine - well done Shanti, my puppy turned 1 last week, she's going to kennels for the first time in 2 weeks I think I'll cry like a baby

Well done Shanti, my dog only lasted 2 weeks in class as he kept getting distracted & was very vocal:lmao: thankfully he is almost there now. Its true when they say Beagles are hard to train::yes::

Hope you feel better soon & that they manage to get your DD sorted:thumbsup2

Hope your DD feels better soon Rosebug, just keep pressing at them, they might do something useful to help her eventually (though I'm sorry she had to go into hospital when they did nothing effective to help her, that won't of made the stay any better : ( )

Just popping in, wondering if any other UK types here have been collecting those Princess Charms? I only just noticed them on the Disney Store site today, annoyingly the Ariel Charm went over night but I got Mulan and Tiana (and a Belle set for a bit extra on Ebay). Trying to look for Rapunzel and Ariel but coming up with some silly prices, don't suppose anyone has any spares of those 2 charm sets? (If not might just bite the bullet and get Rapunzel's charms for £19 on ebay x_o (when the RRP is £2!!)

Sadly not we still need Belle managed o get 3 online the other day thanks to post on here. I never even thought to look on eBay £19!!!! :furious: the only words I have for that are not remotely Disney friendly. Maybe we should keep the charms thread going with updates, swaps etc?

You mean the thread posted recently that mentioned the Tiana charms were back in stock?

In any case, considering that thread suggests they do sometimes put stock back up for another run or so...have emailed Disney Store in hopes of good news on the 2 missing sets (though I suspect with Rapunzel it's too far gone for them to restock...) .Seems weird Ariel would sell out within days really (though I suppose she is one of the more popular princesses)

sorry guys, I just had to share my non-Disneyland excitement with you......
