Nikki, I don't often come onto chat so I think I've missed something, am I right in remembering that you were hoping to be a paramedic and would I be right in guessing that this is the training you're doing at the moment ? If I've totally got it wrong ignore me, it's my age.

Hi Jill, i'm training to be an Emergency Care Support Worker which is a new role just under the technician, however the leaders on the course reckon we will all probably be made up to technicians within the year as there is a skill shortage.

I'm on a 6 week training course, so I have to stay in a hotel Mon-Fri. I was dreading it but we have all seemed to gelled really quickly, even one of the course leaders mentioned this & now we are on to the proper training instead of all the boring corperate bits.

I'm a teacher and the interview was for a 2 year secondment. Just need to wait and see think it would be a good experience though. I was a bit nervous. Ive not been to an interivew for about 12 years

My wee bairn is still on the train! He is due into London at 10.50 and Husband is going to pick him up - rather than have him cross town and get a train back out to us. When I spoke to him earlier he sounded like he really liked Dundee - says the campus is lovely and he would like to go there. Just the small matter of passing his IB now.
