Hello.

As you know I have added a few comments to this particular thread - nothing mind boggling though!!!

I am now worried that I have just barged in on a chit chat place for people who know each other without asking if it is ok to join in!!

Have a lovely pancake day!!

Hello, you're more than welcome to join in. No need to ask!! As Rob has said, the more the merrier!

morning all

i love love love pancakes but my mom hates the smell of them cooking so i wasnt allowed to buy pancake mix. so need to move out and make all the pancakes i want lol

I feel like a pile of poop today. I had 1 hours sleep as i could not just drop off and its always the way that as soon as you need to get up your bout to drop off to sleep.

I have no idea how to make pancakes so none for us today lol.

roughly: 1 egg, 1 mug of plain flour, 1 mug of milk... Mix it all together, then fry a small amount in a frying pan for a short while. At least that's the mixture I use if I make toad in the hole batter, which is basically the same.

Alternatively, you can cheat as mentioned earlier and buy them ready made.

oh no that sucks! i hate having nights like that! i seem to be having excessive amounts of caffeine at the moment :surfweb:

Morning all, got an unexpected morning off work! Unfortunately it's because I've been sick, I feel great though so have been told I can go into work for 12 if I continue to feel that way. So I've got all the paperwork (apart from a set of planning) done for the accrediation we are hoping to get so an hour (so far) well spent. Thought I'd reward myself with some time on here (aren't you lucky!!)
I love pancakes and although I'll be making some later on for my three I doubt I'll be having any myself.

I'm on the french DLP site, looking at some bargains LOL

I've just done the same. They're reasonable bargains, but there's a lot of restrictions.

For one thing, you appear to need a French address to qualify as you can't change the country on the booking details from France.

Secondly, all the stays are midweek - there's nothing where you arrive saturday and return sunday.

Thirdly, they're very restrictive - for example to qualify for the 64%, it has to be a 2 day / 1 night stay, at the Newport Bay, arriving on 19th March.

If you can meet all the conditions, then there are some very good bargains - there's a number of 2 day / 1 night stays for 99 euros per adult and free for children.

There's even a 3 night 2 day stay at the pink palace for 299 euros per adult :goodvibes

I'm so lucky i have a few friends in France who have offered to let me use there addresses if i want to book lol.

Sadly its either a carpet or a trip to DLP and i know what i "have" to choose...damn lol

A couple of quick questions
Is there a "mobile" friendly version of DISboards ? I have the BT Broadband Anywhere HTC phone, but even sat right next to my modem at home, the pages can take a while to load and then they're so long.
I know a lot of DISers have logged in from the park recently, is there free WiFi anywhere in the park itself or the village ?
Staying at Cheyenne and there doesn't appear to be any there. :confused3

Unfortunately not - I have an iPhone and find it quite tricky to read the DIS on the small screen (though it's doable in a pinch).

This isn't really a limitation of the DIS though - I don't believe the vBulletin forum software that the DIS is built on offers anything this and the work required for the DIS administrators to produce it would be quite large to say the least.

I think there's WiFi in the public areas of the DLH - wasn't A Small World DISsing there last week? A nice cocktail outside Cafe Fantasia......

Yes there is - I've logged on from there as well. Unfortunately, it's not free though.

Oh I see. How do they charge you? Not that my children are likely to let me sit down and play on my laptop.

When you initially connect, you are redirected to the orange wifi website.

You pay for an allowance of so many hours (from a number of options) through that site using a card, which then connects you to the internet properly.

You SHOULD also receive an e-mail containing a username or password for if you use it at a later time, though Small World did mention last week that she never received this, so they had to go to reception and ask them to sort this out for them.
