DSD got a leapster for Christmas and plays it constantly (in the car). I want to get her a new game for it for our really long car ride to Disney World next month. I was going to get the princess one, but I am concerned that it will be too easy for her. She will be finished with kindergarten next week and is already doing really well with reading. I was also considering animal genius or I spy. Anyone have any feedback on any of these?

My son is the same age as your daughter, and he really likes Animal Genius. That might be a great one to prepare her for the animals she will encounter at Animal Kingdom if you plan to go there! :thumbsup2

Does your son have difficulty playing the games? I want to make sure DSD will actually play it and I know she won't if she can't figure out how.

DD6 loves Animal Genius but gets bored quickly by I Spy. They often have reviews of games/toys at ToysRUs.com and target.com. Animal Genius would be a good choice for a long car ride because it takes FOREVER to win. (By win I mean complete the ENTIRE game. You can play it as long or as little as you want.)

My almost 7 year old still loves the Princess game. Both kids like Animal Genius too, but my son was able to play that before he turned 4, so its not really a more challenging game.

Does Animal Genius work on the first Leapster they made, or does it only work on the newer ones? Thanks!
