Is there anyone here in the Kingston, Ontario area? I am trying to find information on Grass Creek Park. Am planning a small family reunion picnic with half coming from Montreal and half from Toronto. Provincial parks seem to be too close to one or the other. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Claudia

I think I have been to that one once. If I remember correctly, it was quite nice. A beach area..picnic area, lots of tables.

Ia m more familar with the ones a bit more east..along the Thousand Island Parkway (just a bit further from Kingston and still aroudn the middlish I think between Montreal and Toronto)

Thanks very much. Can you remember the name(s) of the ones along 1000 island parkway? Anyone in particular you would recommend?

Charleston Lake Provincial Park is in that area and is absolutely beautiful! You might want to check it out at www.ontarioparks.com

Hi,
I live in Kingston. Grass Creek park is about 10-15 east of Kingston on Highway 2. It on the right side of the road heading east. There is no charge to enter the park and it is always clean. Hope this helps

Thank you for your input. DreamerAl, can you tell me a little about the park. Is it similar to a provincial park with trees, etc? Is it fairly large? I understand there's a beach?
