I do not mind winter. I don't love it, but I like some snow. But we keep having Ice/rain/ and then some snow/ Then it repeats itself. I don't think we will see the cement driveway until June, it is so packed down. I do daycare and the kids are either late starting, early out/ or no school, just about every week.It makes it tough to plan meals. We are in a rural area and the buses can not go into the country, or on gravel roads. If anybody has some extra sunshine send it to Minnesota!!!

Ditto! We have had a pretty mild winter here in Western WA, but I am so ready for spring!! My doctor said I have a big Vitamin D deficiency and I have to be on a mega prescription dose of it. It doesn't help that I live in the Seattle area! Thank goodness we have a vacation coming up in 2 months to WDW!! :cloud9:

YES!! This year has been especially brutal here in Oklahoma. What happened to the waving wheat sure smelling sweet when the wind comes right behind the rain?

Okay . . . that was cheesy, but you gotta admit our state song is the best.

I HATE the cold , I HATE the winter !!!
I wish it would warm up already !!!

I really need to move to Florida :cloud9:

No no no! I love winter! But I live in FL. In the summer when I'm complaining about the dreadful heat and hurricanes, you can remind me how beautiful it is up there! LOL!

I don't "love" winter by any means, but I'm not usually an "I hate winter person." This year, however, I have found myself saying that I've had it with winter.

I don't know if it really has been colder than normal in Jersey this year, but it sure seems like we have weeks on end of real cold with no breaks in the cold for us. And drat that Puxatawney Phil, I nearly cried when his prediction was rendered!

So yeah, I'm done too this year with winter. Had enough, thanks, ready to move on to some spring weather.

I'm done with winter too. I love summer and hot weather. It doesn't snow here but it rains and I'm done with that. Also, if it gets below 55 my hands and feet get numb. I'd never manage in the snow.

ME ME ME!!! Over Here! I HATE WINTER TOO! WITH A PASSION! I could care less if I ever see another snowflake again!

Me, we are expecting 2 ft of snow again, and it always comes with ice. GAH!!:headache:

I was done with it in November. It didn't used to bother me much, now I hate it. It's just a great big pain. I don't mind the cold so much, it can be cold, I hate the snow and ice and worrying about driving all the time. If every single road, freeway, sidewalk and parking lot was heated and instantly melted any snow or ice I'd go back to it doesn't bother me much.

Yep, I am totally over winter. I am so tired of seeing snow and hearing about it I could scream! So, what did I just do? I booked a trip to WDW for next month. I'd been thinking about it, but just couldn't bring myself to actually make the reservations. But, today after hearing all day about the 12+ inches of snow we are supposed to be getting AGAIN and a very long week at work (and snow will now be made even worse) I got a Ding! elert from Southwest and I decided that it was a sign to book the trip!

Oh yea. Seems to be a theme this year! I am sooooo over cold and winter!

Though I have to say it needs to last until after our spring break March 8 - 12, so all the fun winter stuff coming up will last. Would be better if we had some snow. We have nearly the lowest snowfall EVER this year. Only one other year, in 1918! had this little snow.

And more snow would help with the Yukon Quest and Iditarod sled dog races staring soon.

It has been an odd winter in the North this year. I was traveling last week and was so surprised to arrive even further North to find less snow than Yellowknife and it was warmer too (totally brought the wrong Parka). It was really cold early in the winter but getting ice roads in this year appears to be a challenge. I am just glad to have more sunlight!! I don't mind the snow as long as it is gone in mid June.

Growing up on the shores of Lake Erie has made me sick of snow and winter. Getting a foot of snow was not uncommon. The wind would pick up the moisture from the lake and dump it on us (lake effect snow). My dad would just hand me a snow shovel and tell me "get busy son". My reply...."Thanks Dad"! :(

I'm looking forward to retiring someplace warm. :)

Yep, live on a great lake and those are the two little words you dread hearing all winter ... "Lake Effect" :scared:

I enjoy winter and want at least one more really big snow before it is over. They keep saying we are getting some snow but then they push back when it will get here. I think if they keep saying it is coming they know they will be right eventually.
