Since the iPhone is the unofficial cell phone of choice for the Dis Unplugged and since As we all know the new iPhone 3.0 software drops today I thought I would share this very in depth article on what's new and how to navigate the changes..

Have fun with your upgrades, who knows when I can upgrade mine since my mac is STILL at the stupid Apple store (2 weeks and counting) and I can't sync my phone...

I feel your pain.......I'm out of town working so I don't have my "home" computer to sync it with. Probably a good thing as I usually like to give Apple updates a week or so to make sure there are not any problems with them.

I've got the upgrade downloaded, just can't activate it - "The iPhone 'Annette's iPhone' cannot be updated at this time because the iPhone activation server is temporarily unavailable."

I bet everybody is updating so their server is probably under a bit of stress.

No I haven't been there yet, but I did use the reopening to my advantage today and told them if they couldnt have it fixed by morning I expected it to be Fed Ex'd to Short Pump for arrival tomorrow as I knew that you guys would have it fixed for me ASAP (I didnt tell them I knew someone who worked there). After all they are blaming all the delays on SP being closed for so long so I figure there is no back-up at SP LOL.. They were not happy with my ultimatum but guess what, they called an hour later and it's fixed, John can drive to Norfolk tomorrow and pick it up..

BTW - They said there are 20 more computers from the SP store there to be fixed. You should go pick them all up fix them and then call the customers and have them get them at SP, people would love not having to drive 200 miles round trip and it would get them into the new store.

Are you in the same store location? What was there to remodel?? It's a square store with tables LOL

My upgrade went well but now iTunes is so busy that I can't download updated apps.

My upgrade went fine but it lost all of my apps I've tried to sync it twice but no luck. I've reboot it and now I'm giving up and restoring. I knew it was too good to be true.

I waited until about midnight last night to update mine. First I had to update my itunes which was a pain! But once that was done I got my phone updated in no time at all! I haven't played around with it yet though.

I'd love to go pick them all up, I like driving toward the ocean in the summer,
but I'm not a Mac Genius so i don't work on the units, I'm a Mac Specialist and I just sell the stuff

I'm in the same location and although the remodel may look subtle from the front, a lot was added and rearranged in the back of the store.
