Hi, everyone. I have an off-topic question. Are there any interesting routes between these two destinations? We (just DH and I) have 2 boys who will be 2.5 yo when we go to see family in August. It's about a 12 hour drive. We've driven up to 9 hours before, but not since the boys started walking.

Is there anything to do? Alas, there is no website like the Traveling on I-95 site for a trip like this. So I haven't got a clue! Stopping halfway at Niagra Falls is out of the question because we are not ready to dish out $200 to renew my passport and get new ones for the kids. Any other interesting route? We are open to stopping and spending the night somewhere.

Just wanted to see what the travel experts suggest!

Thanks!

Interestingly, there are direct non-stop flights between Boston and Columbus OH on Delta (operated by Chautauqua Air). Though that would get a bit pricy for a family, but it sure save a whole lot of time.

BTW, you don't need your passport to enter Canada, or at least we didn't last summer. We used our driver's licenses at the border and had the kids borth certificates just in case (according to the consulate's website, that is the acceptible form of ID for kids). No problem at all.

I think the I90 route with a stop in Niagara Falls would be ideal.

I just double-checked. The state department changed the deadline for travel w/o a passport to Dec 31, 2007. Looks like we're going to Niagra! Woohoo!

thanks anyay!
