DH is out of town, so I decided to come to all my "RP Buddies" to share some great news. I just found out that my Tenure was approved by the school board yesterday! I know this wouldn't seem like such a huge deal, but I have been a teacher for 15 years. I taught for several years in a private school--the years don't count towards permanant certification. Re-located and subbed for several years, had children and stayed home with them, since subbing wasn't a good enough reason to leave them. Taught in a rough alternative program for almost three years and finally landed the "job of my dreams" three years ago. So, finally after all of that I am tenured! I have to admit though it has taken me a long time, I'm sure I would not have wanted to miss out on all the diverse experiences I have had the privlege of having!

CONGRATULATIONS! That's great news . . . & a great reason to throw yourself a nice celebration bash at WDW, don't you think
