Hi I hope I am not breaking any rules. I work at an apartment complex that has several vacancies and they are trying to fill them. Does anyone have any good advertising ideas other than the paper? Thanks in advance you guys are the best!!!!

Can things like this go on Craig's List?

When I moved into my first apartment (many years ago) it was advertised on the bulletin board at the local police dept in their break room. 3 of the 8 units were police officers! A friend who was on the dept told me about it. I felt safe at 22 with them always there. The police dept was actually one block away so it was close for them.

advertise on rent.com put, put signs and welcome flags out front, advertise in those free rental books you can get at diners and gas stations

Craigslist? Bullitin boards at your place of work?

how about offering a referral bonus to your tenants... If you are near a college, let their housing office know that you are rent to college students so they put you on the list.

I second the idea of putting signs out front...it's cheap enough. When I was a renter, I would drive around neighborhoods I liked looking for "For Rent" signs.

Bulletin boards in grocery stores and especially laundromats and Chinese take-out/pizza places. When you are doing wash or waiting for your food, you've got nothing ebtter to do than read the ads!
