OT:How about a Zhu Zhu spotting thread?

If you are one of the few (like myself) still searching for the amazing Zhu Zhu hamsters. How about posting any sightings w/ the name of the store, city & state and date & time where they can be found? Similar to the one of the prev posts or threads. Just a thought. Please don't flame me

I found the wheel and the car at Walmart yesterday afternoon (Newton, Iowa) - had them in my cart but I ended up giving them to another shopper as my DD was with me and I couldnt let her see me buy them...

Labdogs42, I agree it is the thrill of the hunt! I can't walk into a store anymore or pass up a Walmart, CVS, Target, etc to check out the toy dept! I have in CVS, TRU and Walmart more times in the last week than I have in my lifetime!

all the CVS in that area ( mayslanding, EHT, and Northfield) had them

LOL. I wasn't there today. That would have cracked me up! I have been spotted at that TRU by a DIS-er once before! (she was afraid to ask me in the store, so she PM'd me later, it was hysterical) I'm a Lehigh Valley DIS celebrity!

I got the email, too. I get them all the time, but I don't remember signing up? TRU is an hour from me, so I'm not even attempting it. Alot of CVSs have had them, but mine has not. They told me the truck comes on Mondays, so I'll check Monday afternoon. I'd love to get an online deal!

I'm in. Actually, I think my MOTHER may have one that I got for her 2 months ago at a Cracker Barrel Store. She said my DD was eyeing it one evening at dinner and I went back and got it for mom to gift her at Christmas... need to call her and ask her to dig it out and read the box to me.

It has a white hamster and a purple wheel in the box set. Just can't remember the brand or name...

Got mine at 1:30pm today at CVS on Rt. 22 in Plainfield, NJ. The guy told me they just put them out and I was the 1st one to buy them. I only bought 2 hamsters & 2 acsessories. Good luck to the rest of you!

Got the email from TRU also today. I believe that the emails go out to reward members, which you can sign up for free in the store. We went once to TRU today, haven't decided if we are going back tomorrow. They did have accessories this afternoon at the TRU I went to in Blaine, MN.

Has anyone looked on ebay at all of the cute sleeping bags that people are making and selling for the zhu zhu hamsters. They are actually pretty reasonable. I think that they are cuter than the ones that you can buy in store. Good Luck looking.
