I'm DS's homeroom mom, and it's Valentine's Party time!

The other moms and I split up the events, so I am in charge of this one. The other parties have had so much extra stuff, and the kids ended up throwing at least half of their plates away. I want to avoid that but still have a decent spread for the kiddos (and grazing parents).

I've made a sign-up list for:

Drinks (one type)
Cookies (one)
Fruit (two)
Cheese (one)
Crackers (one)
Misc (three)
Plates (one)
Napkins (one)
Game prizes (only three types since the kids will be getting bag full of junk from their classmates ;))

Does that seem like enough (but not too much)?

Yes. That should be fine.

Also, one year the classmom that helped in my classroom did build-your-own sundaes for Valentine's Day. She had ice cream from Gordon's and brought sprinkles and diced fresh fruit for toppings. Just an idea, lol! The kids loved it.
