Hey Colson, didn't I read on another thread that you and your beautiful wife were going to F&W? I hope she is feeling better by then...those "wonderful smells" around the world may not smell so wonderful this trip...urgh, the worse part of being pg!
DH and I will be down Oct 23-27 for F&W w/o the kiddo's this time!

Yea, we're going Nov 2-4th. She should be feeling better by then, as she will be farther along. She's actually looking forward to all the food since she can't drink this time...lol

Congrats from me, too! Your new and improved family is going to be sooooo wonderful.
And as for the smells from F&W affecting your wife, if she's far enough along, be sure to get a good $$$ credit line before you go. I remember the changeover from the 1st to the 2nd trimester of being pg...everything smelled wonderful and I could have eaten it *ALL*! (For the record, I only gained 18 pounds with that one, whew!)
Man, I can't believe it's only 3 weeks until we go for the Food and Wine festival, even with the trips we did during the summer, I always can't wait for the "winter" Disney season to begin, and it always starts off with a trip to the Food and Wine festival.
And this year looks to be the best year so far, I literally cannot wait!
I'm with you on that one...we're so excited and cant wait to get to F&W Fest!! We're not staying at FW this time, but have a boat ride and visit planned 2 weeks and 1 day until we leave!!
Secondly, this thread actually answered a question I have meant to ask - to whit: are you the follically-challenged gentleman in the picture or the incredible-looking blonde?
I took my oldest to WDW after her mother and I divorced - she was three years old and a Mickey fanatic. Nearly tore my arm out of its socket trying to get to Mickey.
I have had 2 kids with my lovely wife, and we took the boy to WDW the first time when he was 6 months old. Our daughter got her first trip when she was 2 months old.
The oldest is now 23 (with 3 kids of her own), the boy is now 15 and my youngest daughter is now 9 years old. You are in for an adventure, reliving the wonder of WDW thru the eyes of your child. I envy you. Hmmmm, maybe it is time for this granpa to take the grandkids on the next trip....
lol, I would be the Mr. Clean look-a-like. My DW does post on this account, but very rarely. She's not much of an internet person, although she knows about the DIS and from time to time will get me to ask a question for her. She also enjoys the podcasts (which we love listening to on the way up to Disney). And I'm sure she would appreciate your compliment, she is as sweet as her looks
My only regret is that I will never get to show my child the arcade that I grew up in at the Contemporary. I spent so many of my saved quarters there when I was a kid, my parents would drop us off for a couple hours while they would go with their friends up to the bar. A couple hours and a pocket full of quarters in the Contemporary arcade used to go a longgggggggg way. Now the arcade has moved, I would have loved to have seen my own child playing on some of the same old machines, talk about memories.
Then again, there are also 1000 other things at Disney that I did that are still there, so I don't think I will be running out any time soon
