OT: Help with XBOX and Leapster Please!

Hi all,
I really need some assistance with these two. This is usually ex-hs department, but he is playing the I can't afford anything that big this year-blah blah blah...He is military so his paycheck has not changed in the economy, but whatever!!!

I need to know the difference in the Xbox Arcade, Xbox Pro with 60GB and Xbox ? with 120 GB. Is it a graphics issue or is it just an issue of how much can be saved on the game console? IF I buy the Xbox Arcade can I buy memory cards for it? OR would it just make more sense to by the 60GB? IF it is a graphics issue is it a huge issue or is one of those that we won't even be able to tell the difference?

ALSO, What is the difference in the Leapster and the Leapster 2? Can they both play all the leapster games, just not be downloaded?

Sorry for the long post and all the questions, but I have no idea on any of this and googled and found a million sights where I could buy both of these but no answers!

We have both x box and leapster so i can answer this. I would personally not buy and x box without a hard drive. The memory units for it are expensive and you will end up having spent what the hard drive would have cost you very quickly. The difference in hard drive size only effects how much can be saved, not the graphics. If you are going to be downloading lots of movies and games from xbox live get a big hard drive. If it is just for save games get a small one. The only difference I can see between leapster and leapster 2 is the ability for the parent to go on the computer and look at what the child is learning from th games. All of the new software still works on the old leapster, you just do not have access to the computer features.

I agree that you shouldn't buy the Arcade version. The hard drive is important for many of the games, and is necessary if you're going to download anything. We have the older (20 gig) version of the Pro and are about to upgrade to the 120 gig elite. Especially for games like Rock Band that have lots of downloadable content, the added space is good to have. And with the recent addition of the new dashboard features, you can now install games to the hard drive to improve performance. All that is just a long way of saying that when it comes to hard drives, my opinion is "bigger is better". At a minimum, get the 60 gig pro version.
