How do you feel about emailing photos of your children? If you do email photos of your kids, is it then okay for those who were emailed to email the photos to their list of email friends?

AUGHH!!!! this is a good question. i E-mail photos to my mom and dad andTHAT IS IT! i also have the ones in my siggy. i have asked people not to send out photos that i don't take. it's wierd i know, since the ones in my siggie are out there for the world to see. i guess i just want to be in control of what i send. does that make sense?

I wouldn't have any concerns about emailing DS's photo to a close friend or family member. I wouldn't have any concerns about those people sharing the photos with other close friends or family members (e.g. his grandma forwards it to his uncle). However I would never put a photo in a signature, or email it to people I don't know well.

However this is all a moot question because I don't own a digital camera!

I don't post pics (mainly because I'm technically challenged! :rotfl2: ) but I wouldn't want photos of my DD whizzing around cyberspace to people we don't know! :sad2:

I was quite annoyed the last time we were at WDW (2004) visiting with JoJo at MGM. We had queued forever, finally got to meet with JoJo and Goliath when a gentleman stepped up and took several shots of DD! My DH wasn't paying full attention (he was bored with the waiting! ) but when he realised what was happening he moved towards the guy a little.

This was not a CM - he did have some very fancy looking camera equipment, though - and he made a quick exit when he realised we'd spotted him. :furious:

We decided not to pursue this matter, as there was nothing "unusual" about DD's clothing or the way she was posing. We also realise that not everyone has children but would still appreciate a photo or two of the characters. :teeth: If this man hadn't taken several pics (approx. 4-5) I probably wouldn't even have noticed. If he had asked permission, we may even have given it as he had no direct contact with DD.

This did leave me a little bit paranoid for the rest of the day - I was constantly looking over my shoulder and kept DD firmly in her stroller for the rest of the day!

I have no problem with family doing it, I trust that anyone that they send them to....would be people that already know my boys.

I also post them in my signature, so I guess I can't say much on the subject :rolleyes1
