Ok, I waited until the last minute. I do that when I hope something will just go away. I was thinking maybe someone else would do this so I didnt get stuck:rotfl2:
I am running a fundraiser bus trip tomorrow. It is for adults and it is going to the Casino. Mind you this is a entire commitee and I am saying "I":sad2: somehow everyone of the 25 members seem to be too busy..thats a nother story.
My problem is the trip is about an hour and a half. It is leaving in the am.
I wanted to make some kind of treat bag...I am paying for those..about 30 bags so I wanted to do it for very little cost. I only have bottled water for it right now. I wanted to play some kind of game or do a little fun thing..I have a few little prizes coffee cups and stuff but I am blank...
I know I have to move my butt but I am having a meltdown..its 9:30p.m. please can someone give me some ideas:scared1:  :worried:

I guess it's too late, but I bought a game called "Rubberneckers" for our trip to FLA last week and it was a lot of fun....it is only for four or five people, but I guess if you had time you could make your own....it is a deck of cards, and each person gets four or five cards(I don't remember exactly all the details) and each card has something on it you have to find(for example, a convertible with the top down) there were points and things involved, but you could just say the first person to get all of their cards would win a round.

For the treat bags....how about Lucky Charms cereal(since you're going to a casino)?

 Great idea..Lucky charms... I figured I'll sit here for about an hour feeling bad for myself.. I'll wait for some great ideas and that will make me feel better then I'll wash the tears away and go to Stop and Shop to get what I need...I know I shouldnt have waited until the last minute but....too much to do and not enough hours in the day:guilty:

One option, if you can make it to the store, would be to get mini 100 grand candy bars.

If you are passing out the bags on the return trip, you might be able to get a freebie at the casino - pins, decks of cards or something.

You can always play name that tune, or have someone describe something and guess what it is. There are several games out there (I'm thinking Taboo and such) where you could take the cards and have play with out a board. I think Taboo is one where you are trying to get people to guess a certain word without using a list of other words.

If you are looking for a game to pass out the prizes you can ask for things like who has the next birthday, anniversary, most kids, came the farthest, the oldest, the youngest, etc.

Have fun.

I was trying to think of a way to play..one of these on the bus.
Deal or No deal...not using cases but maybe several bags??? maybe but some kind of little prize in??
or
Who wants to be a millionaire?? no ideas for this one
lets make a deal?? maybe ask if someone has an idea..like a 2$bill or something and they could trade it for maybe something in a bag...could be something good (small bottle of wine) or something that is a joke..dont have a clue.
Or maybe make some kind of gift basket (I have enough things around) and then maybe pick a few people to guess the value...the one that comes closest without going over wins??? :confused3

YOu could also get a bag or two of Hershey Treasures and divide up. Your store may also have chocolate coins in gold foil.

If you can get help with the cost, you could buy scratcher lottery tickets.

Another idea is individual bags of chips, or runts (fruit shaped candy - slots).

It is difficult to come up with ideas that won't cost you a fortune. Even cheap things add up!

If you get to the store, check out the party favor area, they may have bags of cheap things that might work.

I just went back and read one of the other posts. Along the lines of what someone else said, you could do a price is right type thing. Maybe bring items or cut out pictures of things and you pre-determine their value. Whoever comes closest wins.

Last time I flew to Vegas, the flight attendants played some games. One was a little gambling thing to get people in the mood - whoever wanted to play, they'd write their seat number on a dollar bill. THe flight attendants came through and collected them into a bag, mixed them all up then had someone reach in and pull a dollar out. Whatever seat number was pulled won the whole bag!

The second wasn't a gambling game (unless it was the last 2 rolls, LOL) - they gave the people in the aisle seats a roll of toilet paper. When they said go, the person in the front had to pass it back to the person behind them, unrolling the roll the whole way. If the roll ripped, they had to start over. Once it got to the back of the bus, they had to roll it back up going forward, still without ripping. No prizes for the half of the plane that won, but everyone seemed to be having a good time. You could always do a few heats (best of 3) to stretch it out for time and give the winners (that side of the bus) the 100 Grand Bars!

:grouphug: Thanks..really thanks.. I feel better. At least these ideas have helped..I wrote down everyone of them...they will all be added to the treat bags..so know I will think of all of you:) I am going to the store now it sonly 5 minutes away. I should be home and in bed by midnight. I think I feel better in the morning..just had a moment I guess:upsidedow

Carrie that toilet paper idea sounds great. I have the rolls and to give out the 100 grand bars would be perfect.:goodvibes

Just wanted to thank everyone for the ideas. We chaperone high school groups quite often on long bus trips and these ideas were terrific. I am always looking for fun things to do besides the usual movies and headphones. Although we haven't hit a casino :confused3 with the high schoolers, I can adapt a lot of these for a "priceless" trip. Thanks so much.

flakypuff - Hope it was a "100 Grand" day at the casino for you!
