OT-Help! Getting crayon off of stuff!

I used to use sharpie pens to write my son's name on his sippy cup. After a few washes through the dishwasher, the sharpie disappeared. I'm not sure what's in cascade, but it does take away sharpie marker!
 
nail polish remover will also work on Sharpie's...
