OT -- helf with 4 year old -- anger prob??

Great advice from everyone here. I know it seems like forever, but 3 weeks of change for him has not been that long. I think he may need a little more time to adjust.

I wanted to 2nd the idea to talk to his teacher. How is he acting at school and is he having any problems or conflicts with another child? Who is he playing with and what is their personality.

My 4 y.o. dd started acting aggresively a while back. Come to find out, there was a new boy at daycare and he was very aggresive towards all the other children. She would play with him and get into conflict with him. They eventually had to have the parents withdraw him (very sad...the parents would not work with the daycare or admit there was any issue. I felt so sorry for the little boy.)

Anyway, my point is, there may be something going on that you are not aware of.

The other day DS10 came home and I was rushing him to get started with homework bc he had football practice, well he just turned to me with tears in his eyes and melted down. He was exhausted, it was hot in school that day, we let him stay up to watch Mon football, the new schedule of all these practices and being back and school FT just wore him out. We took a break and I let him cool off, get a drink, then he tackeld homework, went to practice and bedtime was even a half hour early. He is much better now.
