OT: Has anyone returned a stroller to the store after using it?

I liked it at the store, but when I took it out to use it, I wasn't a fan. I did use it outside though...I got it from BRU...has anyone ever had a problem with this?

Can you tell it's been used at all? Are the wheels dirty? I personally would keep it.

I think it depends on how long you've had it and if you still have the receipt or not. If it's been less than a month absolutely take it back and you shouldn't have any problems. You fork out the money for a stroller you should get one you like.

I bought a Maclearen and it had a wheel fall off the first week. I returned it quickly. With the price of strollers nowdays you should be happy with the product.

IMO, make sure it is clean, all the paperwork and original packaging, the receipt and return the stroller to TRU.

It can't hurt to try as long as you're honest with the store about having used it outside. I don't think it's nice to seal it back up in the box and pretend you hadn't used it, because then someone else unknowingly ends up with a "used" stroller. BRU may have the option of returning it to the manufacturer or selling it labeled "as is" at a discount.

I had a similar situation, but I bought it from amazon.com, and by the time I got it outside and realized how much I despised it, it was beyond the return period. So I took it to my local consignment shop, and got just about what I would have ended up with, subtracting return shipping and the cost of the item that would have been refunded, if I had returned it.

Thanks for the posts everyone! I was able to return it...the wheels looked fine and I only used it once for a longer period (couple of hours outing) and it was hard to push and once for a few minutes to the library.

There was absolutely no problem (just bought it Sunday)...I did not think to tell them that I used it outside, but it was very obviously repackaged...I never can get them in exactly as they came out!

I ended up finding a Maclaren for a great price on craigslist!
