OT - Has anyone been to StarWars in Concert?

We are going tonight. Any reviews? Wondering if the boys should wear their costumes?

Went afew weeks ago, show is great not overdone at all everyone has a blast at it. There were kids that were dressed up so if they want to wear them let them go ahead and do so.

Yes have them where their costumes. We went last weekend in Chicago. It was great. They had people dressed up in costumes that you get your pictures with. The music was awesome. If you are planning on souvies be prepared. There aren't any toys to buy but we bought a program for $30. Have a great time!

We went about a month ago, and it was fantastic. My DS (11) did not dress up, however there were many children that did.

I took my DS (7) a few weeks ago. He loved it! He did not wear a costume, but many did (adults too!) Enjoy!

I bought tickets for DH to take the kids (22 and 18/almost 19) tomorrow night. I think DH really really wants to wear his Jedi robe.

DH is dying that he has to work tomorrow night and couldn't go to this. I think if your boys want to dress up them let them. I bet it would be very cute and they won't be the only ones dressed up!

Too late to tell OP the show was great, but Indigo, tell your H that many adults were in costume when we saw it in Tampa. Too funny! Btw, the show was totally awesome. And this coming from a non Star Wars fan(dont hit me!) who birthed 2 diehard fans and sibling to 4 adult diehard fans. I think my family owns half of George Lucas empire! lol!

Btw, in a side note since this is a Disney Forum. About 10 years ago or so, my sisters and mom(who worked for Disney then) saw the man himself at the Grand Floridian and spoke to a CM about him after he left. They didn't dare ask for an autograph, but told her what a huge fan my brother was and how much the Star Wars Saga has meant to him throughout his life. He was a sickly child as he had Cystic Fibrosis. Well, a few weeks later he recieved a very kind signed letter and 8X10 from George himself. Talk about one happy kid. My other brother had them framed for him with special hand drawings on the matting. It was probably one of our most memorable Disney moments ever. Nice thinking of that again!

Same as the poster who saw it in Tampa...there were *plenty* of adults dressed up when we saw it in Oregon. And plenty of lightsabers, too!

Either you never watch PBS or else the show has not come near your viewing area yet - we had commercials for it all over the place before it came here and PBS ran behind the scenes "making of" specials all the time. Looked cool, glad everyone enjoyed it (we didn't go, but would have gone if we had won tickets from the TV station).

Ohh.. we don't have TV. That would explain it. We got rid of it like two years ago. (I mean- we own a tv/dvd player but we only use that for the occasional movies )
