Well, we are going to Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls Canada side in May, I remember a while back reading here on the Dis where to order pizza, but I can't remember where that was. TIA

is this on site, or somewhere outside that you call in? we are going next weekend with cooler in tow, but would like to have pizza in the hotel, as i heard the actual restaurant is outrageously priced. What does the pizza cost :goodvibes

Franks is about a km away from the Lodge (maybe less.....I tend to be directionally challenged ;) ). Really, its not far at all. I can't remember if they delivered, or if we picked it up. But it was really, really, REALLY good pizza (and affordable too).

Pizza at the Lodge (at their onsite Pizza Hut) is much more expensive than your hometown location. But honestly, almost everything in NF could be lumped into that same category. We had a burgers and fries meal at Perkins near the Falls that ran us $100 with taxes and tip (and that was with just one alcoholic drink for the entire table, and no appetizers). :scared1: I'm still trying to recover from the shock of that one.

I think that the GWL buffet isn't badly priced, all things considered. There's tons to choose from, usually 4 or 5 different meats alone (including at least one seafood dish, if that's your cup of tea), a great salad bar, super side dishes, a whole whack of kid-friendly options, and a killer dessert station with a build-your-own-sundae bar. And its all you can eat (travelling with teenage boys, this is a real plus in my book). Dinner was $19.95 pp, I think breakfast was $12 pp (can't remember exactly, as our last stay we had it included in our package). Food was good too.

Franks delivers to great wolf lodge (you have to meet the driver in the lobby). We ordered a "tray" pepperoni pizza. The tray pizza is a very large rectangular pizza (bigger then a XL pizza). The pizza was HUGE. It was more then enough for dinner and then lunch the next day. It worked out to be WAY less then half the price of great wolf. I think at Great wolf the largest you can get on site is a medium from Pizza Hut and it costs $17 approx..

After picking up our pizza in the lobby we were going up in the elevator and were sharing the elevator with another family who were holding their medium pizza hut pizza. Their eyes were very wide when they saw our "tray" pizza box from Franks.

Just found our menu from Franks:

Tray (24 slice, square slices) one topping $14.20 plus tax plus tip

They also have lasagna, salads, garlic bread, chicken wings, onion rings, frines, chicken fingers, hot and cold subs.

Prices are all really reasonable. They open at 4pm but get really busy around dinner hours. We were told our 5 pm call would take at least an hour for delivery. In reality it took about 45 minutes. I would recommend trying to call closer to 4pm vs. 5 or 6 pm. The great thing about GWL, is that you can store leftovers in your fridge for the next day and then zap it in the microwave.

Have an awesome time!!! And enjoy the pizza! :goodvibes

We love the Lodge....its our favourite Ontario getaway. Just thinking of a couple of days there makes me :dance3: .

Wave as you drive by Belleville on your way to NF.....and we'll wave back!

Perfect that you asked about this, we're heading there the end of Feb & paid for pizza hut at the hotel the last time we were there & the pizza was so small. We'll be ordering from Franks this time since it's going to be 4 adults & 3 kids.
