Franks is about a km away from the Lodge (maybe less.....I tend to be directionally challenged

). Really, its not far at all. I can't remember if they delivered, or if we picked it up. But it was really, really, REALLY good pizza (and affordable too).
Pizza at the Lodge (at their onsite Pizza Hut) is much more expensive than your hometown location. But honestly, almost everything in NF could be lumped into that same category. We had a burgers and fries meal at Perkins near the Falls that ran us $100 with taxes and tip (and that was with just one alcoholic drink for the entire table, and no appetizers).

I'm still trying to recover from the shock of that one.
I think that the GWL buffet isn't badly priced, all things considered. There's tons to choose from, usually 4 or 5 different meats alone (including at least one seafood dish, if that's your cup of tea), a great salad bar, super side dishes, a whole whack of kid-friendly options, and a killer dessert station with a build-your-own-sundae bar. And its all you can eat (travelling with teenage boys, this is a real plus in my book). Dinner was $19.95 pp, I think breakfast was $12 pp (can't remember exactly, as our last stay we had it included in our package). Food was good too.
