Great Wolf Lodge was amazing! My DD (10) and DS (8) cried when we were leaving! The water park is huge and can handle a lot of people. According the the hotel clerk, the hotel was almost full but the line ups for the slides were not that bad. Both children enjoyed all of the slides, especially the roller coaster type ride - Niagara Rapids (blue one).

All of the staff was very friendly. The beds were comfy and our room was clean and quiet. We made good use of the fridge and microwave. We brought a lot of our own food to save money.

We went for 1 night (Sat of the Thanksgiving long weekend) and that was plenty of time. We were quite tired by the end of the last day. Both days we went into Niagara Falls to eat dinner (Antica Pizzeria - delicious and Kelsey's - good burgers). They have really made it a tourist attraction down there.

My DH and I were wondering why Disney does not have indoor waterparks throughout the US and maybe one in Canada?

I would highly recommend Great Wolf Niagara! :thumbsup2

Glad you had a wonderful trip! :thumbsup2

I think Great Wolf Lodge took a page or two out of Disney's book, and did it very well:)

It would be great to have a "little bit of Disney" in a more accessible way...but I think that the Vero Beach/Hilton Head Island resorts have left them a little concerned about "off-park" developments.

JMHO:)

glad you had such a great time. I might have to check it out next time i am in that area!

They offer Corporate Rates and if you check their website they offer discounts there as well.

Hi all,

I also wanted to say that DH and I dropped in on GWL this weekend and thought it was amazing. It is huge, very well themed... and just the same quality of stay that Disney would provide. Which isn't really common in Niagara Falls.

Anyway, I also heard that there are really low rates with Travelocity...

I was able toget a rate of $199 for a Saturday night stay through Travelocity.

I later found out that I can also get a corporate rate at the same price (although very limited availability with corporate rates)

I just got a Corp rate of $149 for this Thursday night. We have a PA day here on Friday.

I checked for specials but how are people getting the corporation codes (from their work?)

Yes!

:) Just make sure that waterpark passes come with those reservations or else the passes will be extra on arrival...

Wow... this place looks great.

I was just browsing their web site and the prices are pretty steep! I work for a government agency... so a corporate rate is highly unlikely.

Anybody with a good corporate rate want to "hire me"????

My office didn't know anything about it, so I actually called the resort and spoke to someone who coordinates corporate packages (I think her name was Sharon) and asked if my company had a corporate rate, she provided me a flyer with the Company Leisure Plan rate. Some of the weekdays were as low as $99.

I just booked a visit there for Thursday January 4th! I had been looking for a discount code and it never occured to me to check into corporate rates. My union (I'm a teacher) had a rate of $205 for that night. I think I'm going to give it to my kids for christmas. If I can keep a secret that long. How do people plan surprise Disney trips for their families?

Doesn't look good for me re:corporate rates, I work for a private non-profit Child Welfare agency. OUCH, not only do I generally earn less, I usually can't get discounts.

I just started working for CAA, I've checked on our booking software but can't even find the lodge. Does anyone know if there is a rate for us?

I called CAA to find out if they offered a discount at Great Wolf lodge but was told they did not.
