OT: Goodbye to a dear friend, Notatourist

I have not been over to this side of the boards for a while now, so I wasn't aware that Chris was sick. But when I saw the title of this thread, I felt dread at first, and then when I read it, I felt like someone kicked me in the stomach.

Chris was THE best RIP guide ever. She was our tour guide a few times, and since HHN would grow weary for me by the end of the night, I spent a fair amount of time hanging out with her while others went through the houses. She was so knowledgeable about everything in the parks, and so down-to-earth. We chatted easily. Once I wrote a review of HHN, and she PM'd me to thank me, saying her fellow tourguides were jealous of my review. But I didn't say anything untrue; she earned everything I said, and then some.

I have a funny picture of Chris. Raven and I were posing, and Chris snuck in and made the goofiest face behind us. I just looked at it, having not looked at it in a while, and it made me smile through the tears I am attempting to hold back.

I know that she is smiling down on this thread. May she rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in all her knew her, respected her, and adored her.

Sweet Dreams, Chris. HHN will most certainly never be the same for me and many others, but I was very lucky to have to experienced it with her and through her.

P.S. Cancer sucks.
