OT - getting gum out of microfiber couch

OMG, I got home last night and someone got gum on our new microfiber loveseat.
I dont knwo what to do to get it out.
I am freaking out!!! HELP, how should I get it out?

You can try putting ice on it to loosen up the gum. Peanut butter also works to stick to the gum.

tea tree oil. It stinks but the smell won't stick and I haven't found anything it damages or that it won't get gum out of.

I got the gum out by using peanutbutter. It left a little ring around where the gum was. I think the oil in the peanut butter let that ring. But it seems to be fading a little each day. But all the gum is gone. It was amazing, all I did was spread a thin layer of peanut butter over the gum and then I took a butter knife and scrapped the PB off and the gum came right along with it.

Microfiber is pretty washable. I would try some water with a drop of dish soap in it to clean the oily spot now.

peanut butter is the best for getting gum out of a child's hair!! I was ready to cut it out when someone told me to try peanut buuter! Just a little info.
