I've been looking on the internet but I think I need to see them up close, I'm not sure about these upside down trees!:upsidedow

Fabulous! I love tall Christmas trees, we have a real one each year.

We have a real one as well - I love them. We normally get a 6ft one but last year we got a smaller living one in a pot as we were going to DLP on boxing day. We'll probably use that again this year but Im hoping no slugs have crawled into it from our garden :scared1:

I love real ones too but where not at home long enough to justify one as we will be visiting family over xmas, so instead I want a nice artificial one :)

How much is a 7ft tree these days?

We have like a 4ft fibre optic one but i dont like it much. Would looove a big one in our new living room - sadly its going to be a bugeted xmas this year though...:(

I worry with real ones about bell's little feet getting the needles in them.

She cant help herself when there's a tree in the house you see! We can only put plastic baubles towards the bottom of the tree as they are all toys to her!

Aww cute! I would like a 7ft one as we have high ceilings that we should take advantage of!

I have not even started my Christmas shopping yet!

We had a real one once. The needles fell off and then the cats got the needles on their fur and they were all over the house!

Hello everyone. Just reading the Christmas tree talk. We always have a 6ft real tree, this usually costs around £30. We have the ones where the needles don't drop so much and they are pretty good. I have started my Christmas shopping. I keep hiding it all over the house and I know I'll forget where I've put it.:rotfl:

Right my lot are home from watching HSM3 (just the girls went) so off to throw some figures for DLP at them and see what reaction I get!

Good luck - I have just been a taxi service today so just sitting down for 5 mins :confused3 Wish I had a social life :lmao:

They had them on display in John Lewis last year and they're not my thing lol. Here's a pic:

We had a real tree last year (our 1st one) and it was lovely! We didn't have too many needles on the floor though (the kids were very good and didn't brush against the tree loads) but I guess it's different when you have pets around. Not too sure about this year. Might get a real one again?! Or maybe not lol. We have our fake 6ft one up in the loft.

I think they are really strange - I thought they were a joke at first!:upsidedow

So did I. I had heard about it and thought 'nah, don't be silly'. Then when I came face to face with one, I realised that it wasn't a joke:rotfl:

I really don't like that upside down tree. I like really traditional stuff for Christmas. I would love to go to Lapland one Christmas but have you seen the prices?:scared1:

I don't like the upside down ones either, or the black or white ones. I like proper green trees!

Im very traditional as well - I love green trees with red and gold decorations

Yep, I'm with you, Karen. Give me a green tree. And then I'll decorate it in fairy lights, bows, tinsel, candy canes and baubles, topping it off with a star - just so it looks really natural!:lmao:
