Just seen this and thought of you all - apologies if it has been posted already but how cool is this! :goodvibes

Speaking clock gets Disneyfied

As of the end of British Summer Time on Sunday, BT's famous speaking clock will be voiced by Tinker Bell - the result of a "sponsorship deal with Disney" which will also see the traditional pips replaced with bells.

I'm trying to make our wedding budget work for this venue!!! I'm determined!!

I have found a way of doing it, but I don't know if there'd be enough food!

Can you not scale back on the amount of people you invite?

Just emailed my useless boss again about me leave dates in December. Booked them of on the 16th October and I still have not had any confirmation that they have been booked off!

Serioulsy, how difficult is it to respond to an email :confused3 :confused3

We're already only having 50 guests.... I really can't trim off anymore...Predominantly because most of them are really close friends and/or family members....

Oops, 48 Guests, I miscounted..... Well, Maybe 49 if the Vicar agrees to come to the reception.... I'll keep it at 50 for the maths anyway!

I've got a moral dilemma.

In my job I deal with landloards and tennants all the time. There is a LL who has just called me to say that he is evicting his tennant and that they will be gone within the next month.

Now we are looking at moving places to another rented property that is larger for when new baby comes. This new place is 3 bed (the same as ours) but in a nicer area, a larger house and has a garage, driveway and a lovely garden which is £75 per month more (which we can afford)

My dilema is this - Should I use my work position to calll the LL and offer to take over the property when the tennant is evicted, and risk him saying no and possibly reporting me or do I just forget it and potentially loose out on renting a lovely place???

Is there any way of doing it 'above board' - ie) declaring your interest with the landlord and your place of work?

Just popping on quickly to thank everyone for their birthday wishes. Got a shock when I saw your birthday greeting Bob :rotfl: Didn't expect that lol.

Will catch up later, probably tonight (the only downside to having school holidays... I don't get as much net time lo).

The brighter the better! Lol!

Hope you're having a lovely day!

See Bob, think of all the food at WDW!!! You should honeymoon it!!

Delay honeymoon and get free dining? It's only £4 extra a day from teh free dining to upgrade it to table service, which for £112 for the two of us for two weeks seems too good to refuse!!

Oooo! My stuff has just arrived for Edinburgh! It looks gorgeous!!

It is tempting, but I think the food in Paris looks far and away nicer. Plus, I think the whole park looks nicer in Paris....

Maybe one day, but not my honeymoon.....

You pleased to have got the Eurostar sorted? You're better than me, I probably would have keeled over and died!
