Ok, me and my friends don't really like April First. So, we started celebrating fish day instead! My friend's sister takes French, and last year they learned that they celebrate fish day. The story goes like this:

New Years day used to be celebrated on April First, but when they changed it to January First many people still celebrated on April First. They were considered naiive like the small fish they throw back into the river after being caught.

And thats the basic gist of the story:) Now I must go find some sweedish fish! :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish:

Those little sweedish fish candies are good!!! :teeth: :teeth:

I know! I love them. There actually wasn't any in my house, so I was sorta sad. Oh well, I guess I'll have to get them tomorrow *shrug*

LOL!! I have not had them for a while. Now I have a strange craving for some swedish fish.

Happy fish day, lol. Sweedish fish yum, especially the red!

I read this and had to chuckle. You see, there is a bunch of us Christian's in vmk who identify themselves as fish people. And Sunday as fish day; since the fish was a secret symbol used to identify Christians in times when they could not otherwise identify themselves.
