OT -- Downloading music in Canada

Just bought DD 12 an MP3 player and she wants me to download music. I can download all her CDs no problem, but she wants some songs, so I thought I would get them online. I spent about an hour on the Walmart.com site and now it won't let me download because I don't have a US credit card. Where do Canadians download music from? Thanks. Deb - confused non-techie mom!
