We are expecting baby #5. We have used and abused several strollers. This time we are looking for a very compact double stroller for infant and 3yr old. Our expedition does NOT have much cargo space. We are currently using a chicco single for our youngest. We have used our Maclearen twin rally, but I don't want to use it with the new baby. You can not put the infant seat in it and the straps are just too big to hold a little one. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm not due til August so we have some time to shop. Thanks for any ideas you all may have.

Is this for Disney, home use, or both? We have twins and use a double jogger. Our most current one is a Baby Jogger City Series double and we are taking it to Disney in a couple months. So far, we LOVE it. I don't know if it holds an infant seat, but I assume it does....(?) We like joggers because they push extra weight very well and without any effort. This particular Baby Jogger is a one-step fold and the seats recline individually and very deep. The front wheels also pivot or else you can lock them in. There is a lot of storage too.

Congrats on #5! I had #6 4 months ago and our next youngest just turned 3 so I can totally relate. Since baby#6 made us officially outgrow our minivan we had to get a new car. We ended up with an 8-passenger Durango. Plenty of room for all 8 of us, but the trunk space leaves more than a little to be desired. We have been through a whole whack of strollers, but haven't had a double since our last one broke (after a well-used life). I searched and searched for a compact double and what I ended up going with is the Combi Twin Sport. There are definitely positives and negatives that go along with this one, but overall I'm very happy with it. I got it at Babies R Us. It is a side by side, but it's more narrow than the average side by side. I can easily manoeuver it through a single doorway when I'm out. It folds up really small, especially for a double. It folds in half and then sideways so it easily fits in the back of our Durango. It's not nearly as heavy as some of the doubles out there and I can fit my Graco infant seat in one side (even though they say it only fits their own Combi infant seats). The seats also recline enough so that I can use it for my infant without the infant seat. DS3 is pretty big for his age and he sits pretty comfortably on the other side.Major negatives for this stroller are that there are no cupholders/snack trays for kids or parents and the underneath baskets are on the small side, but you can manage to fit stuff in. Some people find the set of wheels in the middle a pain if they kick them as they're walking, but that doesn't bother me too much. If we had more trunk space I would probably have gone with something else, but overall I'm happy with this choice. I did go to Toys R Us and Babies R us and Target and Walmart and just about everywhere else to try other strollers. I looked at Sit n Stands, but they never seemed liek they would be comfortable enough for my 3 yr old. Sorry this ended up going so long. Good Luck with your pregnancy and stroller search!

TJA: The stroller is for everyday use. We don't have any disney trips planned til 2009.

SplashMountainMama: Thanks for the info on the combi, I will have to check them out.
