OT~Doesn't *anyone* proofread anymore?

Yeah but the Easter Seasonal Cartridge has cuppycakes! ;)

(Um, I should have that before Saturday, would you like me to bring it?)

Did anyone else see it?

I didn't read far, but did you mean the "Mother's Day 2003" line? (Actually, that seems to refer to a LO someone just did from that date...)

Hey...wait just a cotton pickin' minute....are you still on the wagon? Was this one of those "seconds before midnight on NYE" purchases??? :rotfl2:

point it out. I don't feel like reading the whole thing.

I was thinking the same thing.
Proofreading errors bug the heck out of me but than again I know I'm not perfect. You should see the morning announcement email I get from my son's high school. I seriously can't believe the school secretary is typing this thing up and sending it out. It's absolutely horrible ... spelling mistakes, dates and days of the week wrong for meetings ... unbelievable!

When would our crowd not want to see a new cartridge? For four ;) goodness sake. :rotfl2:

I just got a book (for free, I'll add) to review, and I can't imagine someone actually read the thing before it went to printing. Some serious grammatical mistakes in the first chapter...I wouldn't keep reading if I didn't have to review it, I'm AR about that stuff too!

It wasn't seconds before midnight, it was NYE DAY.

...."to view this addition of "Cartridge in a Minute."

It should be EDITION.

I'm far far far from perfect, and I make grammatical and spelling mistakes all the time, but seriously, this is a MAJOR company. Take some time to do some proofreading!

Oh man, and they do it three times. Do they always do that? Ick.......

I was at Museum of Modern Art yesterday, and I was looking at a painting that had "The last of it's kind" on it. And I went "Oh my god. Why didn't anyone catch that before it went on display?" And some people start muttering near me about cutting slack and genius and stuff like that. Too bad the genius doesn't spread to grammar.....

LOL, I'll have to put it on my reserve list at the library ;)

What, exactly, *is* the Girl's Ponytail League?

That is really bad.

I was taught grammar and punctuation by nuns, so it really irks me when I see mistakes like that.

As a wedding gift, we got an throw blanket that said: The Davises' in embroidery. And it was from someone who is a teacher, and trying to become a published writer. :confused3

I had a girl scout training for cookie sales tonight. I cannot even tell you how many errors there were in the presentation. It kind of makes me sad that no one takes the time to edit and proofread anymore.
