I believe you become a DIS Veteran after 75 posts. I am not sure, but I think you can go into your User CP and make the adjustment before hand. Anyone else know for sure?

Yes you become a DIS Veteran, once you reach 75 posts.

The sayings everyone has under their user name are called tags, and though I read that some people add their own, I think it is better to just wait for the Tag Fairy(s) to do it.

As far as I know you can add an ICON when you register but not put anything under your name like the tag fairies do till you reach 75 posts. At least that's when it appeared for me. Post a lot and it won't be long.
