DS has always been on the small side, but lately I'm becoming more worried about it. I'm not sure of it's because of the fact that it's summer and we're at the pool a lot, but people are constantly commenting on how skinny he is. My mom has to take all of his pants and shorts in at the waist or they'll fall down.
He is 2.5 yrs old, and has only gained 1 lb in the past 6 mos. His dr is not concerned because he is gaining weight. I've been taking my kids to this ped for 10 years and I trust him, but now that so many people are commenting, I'm beginning to wonder if I should be more concerned.
I'd love to hear from anyone who has been in a similar situation.
TIA!

And she is only 42 inches tall too, she is just a petite girl!! One word of advice is buy clothes at like childrens place or old navy and look for the adjustable waistband. I love these, if they don't have the adjustable waistband they fall right off. I wouldn't be worried. Your child just probably eats well. MY DD snacks a ton on fruits and veggies and would choose these any day over junk food, as long as you know he is eating and drinking I wouldn't be concerned!!!
He is 35.5 in and 24.5 lbs.
